Our Services

We meet on Sundays from 10.00 am to 12.45 pm at The Lampard Centre, Sally Port, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5BU

We meet for bible studies on Tuesdays at The Hub, Brompton High Street, 13-15 High St, Brompton, Gillingham, ME7 5AA.

We meet in a recently built and comfortable MOD building which seats a total of 300 people in both halls, with provision also for our youth and children to meet. On arrival, you could park your car at the car park and follow the paved footpath to the entrance door or if by foot, entry is through the mesh fence gate, follow the paved footpath to the entrance door where you will be given a warm welcome.

We encourage active participation in all activities and programs, but also provide a non-pressured environment for new visitors and people just wanting to “check us out”. Our services tend to last about 2 hour 45 minutes. We serve refreshments after the service, so that people have space and time to meet with new and existing friends to enjoy fellowship.

Our Messages

We have a variety of people who speak at Kingdom Exchange Ministries who have a desire to teach, inspire and help people grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God.
We have a short time of exhortation given by a different person each week which lasts 5 minutes before the main message which lasts about 45 minutes.
All messages aim to be transforming, life applicable and easy to understand.
At the end of the message, there is usually an opportunity to receive prayer in response to the message or for any area of life where you may be struggling or in need. Again, there is no pressure on anyone to do so.

Our Music

Our style of worship is modern and contemporary where our meetings use a combination of modern style praise and worship songs and visual media. It is not particular to any one genre. We sing songs from a variety of artistes and some written by inspired members of our very own worship team.
Our worship team is truly inspired by the leading of the Holy Spirit, which gives members the liberty to avail themselves to a time of total surrender to the sovereignty of God.
We encourage our members to use their gifts to the glory of God, and are always looking to welcome singers and musicians to join our dedicated worship team.

KEM Youngsters

KEM youth is an exciting, lively and an interactive place for all children to enjoy making friends and learning about God. Our children are part of the main service during worship and then go off and have a great time learning about God in fun and energetic ways including music, stories, crafts and games.
We have a great program that follows the theme of the church to be brought down to the understanding of the different age groups:
• Creche (0-4)
• Brave Kids (5-11)
• United One (12-18)

We will register your children at the beginning of the service and you may be asked to complete a form for administrative and security purposes before their activities commence with us. It also gives us both a chance to meet each other before they join us during the service. All of our amazing team are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked so rest assured your kids are in safe hands.

Get Involved!

We believe everyone has a God given skill or talent that can be very useful in Kingdom Exchange Ministries, and this is demonstrated by our hard-working volunteers in the various teams bringing a spirited edge to our service. From young to old, we encourage everyone to get involved in one of our teams where they could use their skills or talents to enhance one another and the body of Christ.

We have several teams that you can be part of on a Sunday morning and during the week.
Teams are a great place to make new friends and foster relationships, it is also very rewarding to lend yourself to the service of others. We arrange regular team socials outside of a Sunday meeting.

Included in our teams:
• Setup
• Media
• Worship
• Kids & Youth
• Hospitality
• Welfare
Please speak to a team leader on a Sunday morning to discuss getting involved, or contact our office for more information.

KEM Outreach

Kingdom Exchange Ministries in partnership with BU Mentoring and Brompton Community Shop work together as the central outreach arm of the church delivering services to our community which is a fundamental part of Christendom to show the love of God to the less fortunate.

Foodbank
The partnership under our charity deals with food distribution throughout the week but predominantly on Saturdays.
This is open to anyone who can prove they are in a time of hardship and receiving some form of benefit.

KEM, in partnership with Brompton Community Shop is a charity initiative that caters to the needs of the local community especially the homeless and others in need. Well positioned on Brompton high street, it has become a meeting point for the needy and elderly. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and selfless in their approach to service, and during coffee mornings they are available to listen to any problems you may be facing and can direct you to external organisations which may be able to help you further.

We are currently seeking a location to start our soup kitchen, which will provide another opportunity for people who are either in times of hardship, homeless, or lonely, to have themselves a cooked breakfast in a warm and safe environment.  This is a time where people can make and meet with friends or just sit and read a newspaper.

Cold Winter Shelter
During the winter months, Kingdom Exchange Ministries partners with other churches and organisations to offer people who are homeless a warm and safe place to sleep. It is part of the vision of the church to acquire a building which will serve as an overnight accommodation service for the homeless.

Giving & Donations

Kingdom Exchange Ministries is mainly funded through individual donations.

As a church, we follow the Biblical principal of cheerful giving which means giving “purposefully”. Individuals are however free to give if and as they wish – without any obligation or pressure.

If you would like to make a regular donation, please contact us to set up a standing order.

If you would like to make a donation by card, please use the secure form provided here.
